Can I participate in the DV-Lottery if I live in an eligible country, but was not born in an eligible country?
The Diversity Visa Lottery Program was created to further diversify the U.S. population, so eligibility is based upon where you were BORN, not where you currently live. Therefore, you must be BORN in an eligible country AND you must meet the education OR work experience requirements to participate in the DV-Lottery.
