For many years, smaller cities and towns in the United States have been left behind as people moved to the big cities for the more important, prominent jobs.
It’s possible, however, that the trend may be changing, as new census data is showing that more native-born Americans are moving to locations between 500,000 and 1 million people. While migrants continue to move to the larger cities, American citizens are leaving areas like San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles to make homes in less pricey suburbs.
According to USAFIS, moving to a smaller city may be a great option for foreign nationals looking for steady work in the United States.
