[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]A second corporate campus and hiring 20,000 workers are in the plan for a $350 billion five-year commitment by Apple to the United States economy. Apple is the world’s largest company by market capitalization, and they agreed to contribute $75 billion of the amount through planned capital expenditures, investments in American manufacturing, and tax payments after repatriation of overseas profits. With 20,000 workers being added to the U.S. workforce, now is a good time to consider relocating to America. Contact USAFIS for information on the Green Card lottery process.

Apple is expected to pay close to $38 billion on foreign earnings, after the $1.5 trillion tax overhaul has been made law in December 2017. Roughly $252 billion of Apple’s cash is held in foreign accounts. Not only is Apple returning some of the overseas money to shareholders, but the announcement also shows faith in the U.S., their largest market.

Tim Cook, the Apple CEO, said:

“We believe deeply in the power of American ingenuity, and we are focusing our investments in areas where we can have a direct impact on job creation and job preparedness. We have a deep sense of responsibility to give back to our country and the people who help make our success possible.”
