Silicon Valley have to move over when it comes to the largest paychecks. Energy workers moved into the top spot with the median pay in 2017 of $123,000.
There has been an average of 207,000 jobs created each month in the US during 2018. There is 1 job for each of the 6.2 million people unemployed in August.
Analysts have been anticipating a change in wages as employers are having a more difficult time filling the growing number of positions.
The American government recently reported that the manufacturing industry added 37,000 positions during July – Highest annual job growth in over 20 years.
The percentage of Americans with a positive view about jobs in the USA is now at 67%, which is the highest in 17 years of Gallup polling
